GRC Functions & Frameworks

I have developed highly successful compliance risk governance and audit functions, frameworks and teams from start up stage to growth and through change. I have directed and supported organisations on financial services compliance, data protection, cyber security standards, operational resilience / BCP, outsourcing and corporate governance, to name a few.

I have managed regulatory applications and consistently secured approvals across a number of jurisdictions and regimes.  I have also managed and achieved highly successful outcomes on several regulatory reviews & inspections from regulators (e.g. AML, Fitness & Probity, Regulatory Reporting, Conduct of Business and others). 

I have built, trained, supported and coached several teams of highly proficient individuals across a number of GRC functions. Whilst I seek to continuously learn and develop my own expertise, I am always eager to impart knowledge and share experience to encourage and empower others.

I have designed and supported the development of several regulatory service offerings (including AML officer Services, FATCA & CRS Compliance, AIFMD Compliance, Regulatory Reporting and others).  I have also directed and supported numerous remediation & implementation projects in response to regulatory developments and following business or client acquisitions.  

I have participated in several industry working groups and contributed to internal, industry & education led professional development courses and training on topics including AML, GDPR, Digital Services Act, Operational Resilience, Regulatory Compliance, Outsourcing/3rd Party Risk Management, Individual Accountability Regime, Operational Controls, Conduct and similar areas.  

Senior Executive and Corporate Appointments held to date include, Independent Non Executive Directorships, Executive Directorships, AML Compliance Officer, Money Laundering Reporting Officer, FATCA/CRS officer designations and 

Central Bank of Ireland approved PCF12 (Compliance) PCF13 (Audit) 

& PCF14 (Risk) and equivalent registrations in Bermuda and the Cayman Islands.
